Skin Tightening by triLift® in Lenexa, KS

Loose, crepey skin on the neck, jawline, eyelids or abdomen usually isn’t just a skin problem — the muscle underneath has lost tone, too. triLift® by Lumenis® treats both layers in one session, pairing radiofrequency heat that tightens the skin with Dynamic Muscle Stimulation (DMSt™) that firms the muscle beneath it. When texture and crepiness need extra help, RF microneedling is available as an add-on or an alternative.

Every treatment is performed by Laura McDonald, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC — a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner — not handed off to a technician. No needles, no incisions and no recovery time with triLift; most clients head straight back into their day.

Why Skin Loosens — and Why Tightening Takes Two Steps

Starting in our mid-20s, the body gradually makes less collagen and elastin, so skin thins and loses its snap. Weight loss, pregnancy and years of sun speed that up. At the same time, the muscles under the skin lose tone and stop holding everything up. That’s why creams and skin-only treatments often fall short: firm skin needs firm support underneath.

Skin tightening at Rewind Time is built around both layers — and around your specific areas of concern.

Radiofrequency + Dynamic Muscle Stimulation

triLift® by Lumenis® combines two technologies in one treatment. TriPollar® radiofrequency gently heats the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate new collagen and tighten what’s already there, while Dynamic Muscle Stimulation (DMSt™) contracts the muscle underneath to rebuild tone and support. Tighter skin over a firmer foundation is what creates the lifted, sculpted look.

Best for: mild to moderate skin laxity where you also want muscle tone and lift — a sagging jawline, hooded lids or a softened abdomen.

RF Microneedling: Add-On or Alternative

RF microneedling places fine needles into the skin and releases radiofrequency energy from their tips, delivering heat directly into the dermis where collagen and elastin are made. It’s the stronger choice when the surface of the skin needs work too — crepey texture, fine lines, enlarged pores or scarring — alongside tightening.

When to Combine Them

triLift uses radiofrequency (RF) and Dynamic Muscle Stimulation (DMSt™) to tighten the skin and tone the muscle underneath — no needles involved. RF microneedling does use needles: fine needles deliver radiofrequency energy deeper into the skin to remodel it from the inside out. Because they work differently, they complement each other.

A combined plan can make sense when you have both loose skin and crepey texture — for example, a neck that has lost definition and also looks crinkled. RF microneedling on its own may be the better fit if texture, lines or scarring are your main concern.

At your consultation, Laura looks at your skin and recommends triLift alone, RF microneedling alone, or a combined plan — never a one-size-fits-all package.

Skin Tightening FAQs

It depends on what’s causing the looseness. triLift® is a strong fit when skin laxity comes with lost muscle tone — a sagging jawline, hooded lids or a softened abdomen — because it treats both layers without needles or downtime. RF microneedling is better when crepey texture, fine lines or scarring are also a concern. Many clients benefit from a combined plan, and Laura will recommend the right approach at your consultation.

Most clients describe triLift as a warm massage with gentle muscle contractions, and many scroll on their phone during the session. RF microneedling involves fine needles, but it is generally well tolerated and discomfort is usually minimal.

Most clients start with a series of sessions. Each before-and-after photo on this page notes how many treatments it reflects. Laura will build a plan around your treatment areas, your skin and your goals.

There is no downtime with triLift — you can go straight back to work or your day. After RF microneedling, expect some temporary redness; downtime is minimal.

Many clients notice a tighter look right after a triLift session. Because both triLift and RF microneedling stimulate new collagen, the skin continues to firm over the following weeks, and occasional maintenance sessions help results last.

Yes — skin tightening can firm mild to moderate loose skin on the abdomen, arms, thighs and neck after weight loss or pregnancy. Large amounts of excess skin may need a surgical consultation, and Laura will tell you honestly if that’s the case.
